When is eyelid plastic surgery recommended?<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Recommendations for eyelid correction<\/h2>\n<p>Usually, the desire for <a href=\"https:\/\/beautyskin.znakomity.net\/chirurgia-plastyczna-warszawa\/#toggle-id-2\">eyelid plastic surgery<\/a> offers depends on the individual well-being of the patient and the manner and rapidity with which the aging process takes place. There are several immediate reasons for performing eyelid correction, which can be divided into upper and lower eyelids depending on the ailment:<\/p>\n<p>Upper eyelid correction:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excess skin located in the upper eyelid area, which not only affects aesthetics, significantly &#8220;closing&#8221; the eye, but can also be the cause of limited visibility. It is then necessary to perform an upper eyelid correction to increase the visual area and relieve pressure on the eyes.<\/li>\n<li>genetically determined &#8220;drooping eyelid,&#8221; which results in the movable eyelid being covered by the upper eyelid. This defect can also be caused by weakness of particular facial muscles located in the eye area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lower eyelid correction<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excess fatty tissue located in the lower eyelid, which significantly reduces the aesthetic value of the eye, causes a &#8220;squint&#8221; effect. In this case, it is necessary to correct the lower eyelids.<\/li>\n<li>Excess skin in the area of the lower eyelids, the formation of so-called bags under the eyes, affecting aesthetics and giving an aging effect.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The most common patients presenting for eyelid correction surgery are men and women over the age of 35. However, this is not the rule, especially for people with a genetic predisposition to defects, but most often eyelid plasty is performed to reduce the visible signs of aging, and these are usually visible after the weakening of collagen fibers and a significant loss of this protein, which occurs just around the age of 35.<\/p>\n<h2>Eyelid correction procedures<\/h2>\n<p>The most effective method of dealing with defects in the eye area is, of course, eyelid plastic surgery. Surgical intervention can effectively get rid of excess skin or fatty hernias, or so-called bags. Under the guidance of an experienced surgeon, the procedure can be performed under local anesthesia after prior preparation. It is a fairly mild procedure, after which recovery time is relatively short. The patient should remain in a compression dressing for 2 to 6 hours, while the sutures after surgery can be removed after about 6 days.<\/p>\n<h2>Preparation for eyelid correction surgery<\/h2>\n<p>Performing the surgical procedure itself is not complicated and can be classified as a benign one. Nevertheless, it is a scalpel intervention and, more importantly, anesthesia is required.
