The number of treatments needed is an individual matter, determined among other things by the colour and density of the hair. For an arm or bikini body treatment, we perform a series of at least 6-8 treatments at intervals of 6-8 weeks. Often for the back and leg area, we perform a treatment series every 8-10 weeks. All indications are determined individually after a cosmetology consultation.
The pigment (melanin) present in the hair bulb absorbs the laser radiation, as a result of which thermal energy is produced which destroys the hair growth structures. In addition, with the use of the Nd:YAG laser, the vessels responsible for nourishing the hair are damaged, preventing regeneration, which maximizes the achievement of the expected treatment results.
